This is a .003 thick main reed with a .025 half added for an extra note and gives it a little more backbone. Provides 5-7 note bugles and excellent cow calls. We still consider this a good hunting reed that excels in sounding like a young immature bull that isn't too big and over-aggressive. We consider this a mid-weight reed that takes light air and minimal tongue pressure.
